Great Give Day, sponsored by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque on May 14th of this year, was a success for the Garnavillo Historical Society despite the COVID pandemic. The Garnavillo Historical Society received $1,000 from the Clayton County Foundation for the Future towards their project “A New Look Into the Past.” The project involves removing the somewhat fixed glass on some of the museum’s show cases and replacing it with sliding glass doors and locks.
